Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between a graduate certificate and a master’s degree?
A graduate certificate is a shorter program, usually completed in under a year, that builds targeted expertise. A master’s degree provides broader, comprehensive knowledge.
Our legal graduate certificates (12 credits each) give you focused, transferable credit you can earn quickly.
Our Master of Legal Studies (MLS) is a full 30-credit degree with advanced topic coverage. The MLS allows you to specialize your learning with multiple track options while building a strong foundation in legal principles and their applications to real-world contexts.
How do I know which certificate is right for me?
The best fit will depend on your career goals and the kind of legal knowledge you need. An enrollment specialist can walk you through the options and help you align your choice with your professional path.
